The Rosén Linnaeus Prize in Botany and Zoology has been awarded every three years since 1935 to Swedish researchers whom the Royal Physiographic Society in Lund considers to be well deserving. In 2023, the prize is awarded to Henrik Smith for his research efforts in biodiversity and the conservation of biodiversity in today's changing environment. Henrik shares the prize with Love Dalén, Professor of Evolutionary Genomics at Stockholm University.

- I am happy and proud of the award. It means a lot that the long-term work me and my colleagues have done to increase knowledge about how to preserve biodiversity is recognised, says Henrik Smith.
