1 BECC postdoc “Risk assessment of N and P leaching from forest ecosystems” in Gothenburg

The Postdoctor position ‘Risk assessment of N and P leaching from forest ecosystems’ at the  Dept. of Biological and Environment Sciences, University of Gothenburg under supervision of Associate Prof. Annemieke Gärdenäs, We are looking for a candidate with competence in biogeochemical modelling and programming.

All five is within BECCs area of research at Lund University and will be based at the Centre for Environmental and Climate research (CEC). The postdocs’ main duty will be to carry out research, but active participation in the BECC environment is expected. 

Appointment to a post-doctoral position requires that the applicant has a PhD, or an international degree deemed equivalent to a PhD, within the subject of the position, completed no more than three years before the last date for applications. Under special circumstances, the doctoral degree can have been completed earlier.

Associate Senior University Lecturer in Ecological-Economic Modelling with a focus on ecosystem services.

The appointee will be expected to play a key role in CEC’s modelling team, leading the development and use of ecological-economic models, in collaboration with researchers at CEC and within the Strategic Research Area Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in a Changing Climate (BECC) responsible for spatial models for land use, biodiversity and indicators of ecosystem services.

He/she will also be active in outreach and stakeholder dialogue, developing contacts and collaboration within relevant organisations within the green sector, including authorities.
