From 30 November to 11 December 2015 all eyes are on Paris and COP21, the 21st Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21/CMP11). The conference is crucial because the expected outcome is a new international agreement on climate change, applicable to all, to keep global warming below 2°C. Several of the researchers and PhD students in BECC are joining the meeting. You can find them on social media, where they are sharing their impressions.
- Thomas Sterner, University of Gothenburg, is blogging from Paris here
- Kimberly Nicholas, Lund University, is blogging and tweeting from Paris.
- Several BECC researchers from Lund will be blogging on Sustainability Forum blog: for example BECC PhD student Tobias Nielsen has written about REDD+ and COP21 here (in Danish) and in English here (REDD+, the saga continues)
- Angela Oels, Lund University, has organized a side-event on climate migration, you can find a video and a short text about the side-event here.
