Arctic in a changing climate

This course gives a broad holistic knowledge about the Arctic and how the Arctic systems are affected by ongoing climate change, including potential feedbacks to the climate system. Lectures and seminars will take an earth system perspective and cover: Arctic ocean, Arctic atmosphere, Arctic cryosphere, Arctic terrestrial ecology and climate modelling.

The course is supported by ClimBEco Graduate Research School and is open for application for all Phd students but with acceptance priority for ClimBEco participants for a certain number of the available places .
