BECC-MERGE annual spring meeting
This year's annual spring meeting will deal with sustainable land use. This meeting will strengthen collaborations between BECC and MERGE.
The goal is to jointly develop a framework of the knowledge (empirical evidence and models) that can forecast consequences of land-use decisions on both climate, biodiversity and ecosystems.
Through the meeting activities we will explore the possibilities and constraints for using BECC and MERGE results on climate – land-use interactions to inform Swedish and EU policies. We will discuss and rethink how land-use is governed for simultaneously tackling climate change and biodiversity loss.
A preliminar program is on its way.
Save the date.
