LU Land breakfast seminar #19: How can nature-based solutions be used to meet the threats of future sea level rise?

The sea level is estimated to rise by 4 mm per year and an increased frequency of extreme weather events puts severe pressure on coastal areas. In this breakfast seminar, we look at the possibilities of using nature-based solutions to meet increased risks of flooding.
In this breakfast seminar hosted by LU Land, we highlight and discuss the challenges that exist with different types of coastal protection in the form of nature-based solutions in relation to the values they need to protect. How do you weigh different interests against each other? Is it possible to promote a multi-functional coast with room for biodiversity even in densely populated areas?
