LU Land breakfast seminar: How do we make room for more nature in the schoolyard?

4 December 2024 08:30 to 09:30 | Seminar
A child's hand is reaching for a small snail on the ground.

Green and species-rich outdoor environments around schools and preschools promote children's well-being and knowledge generation through health benefits linked to biodiversity, play and learning about nature and environmental issues. Today, however, the schoolyard remains a relatively untapped space for biodiversity and climate adaptation. This breakfast seminar will discuss the main motivations, possible actions and challenges in developing rich green environments in schoolyards.
