LU Land lecture "Pollinators and Green infrastructure"
Green infrastructure has become a popular concept in policy contexts and is applied in many places to benefit landscapes rich in biodiversity and ecosystem services. According to basic ecological principles, attention should be paid to the quantity and quality of habitats to maintain a well-functioning green infrastructure, but what does this mean in concrete terms for our wild pollinators?
At today's seminar, Johan Ekroos, assistant professor at the University of Helsinki, Finland, will talk about green infrastructure from the perspective of pollinators. Moderator is Gabrielle Rosquist, County Administration Scania.
