eDNA methods in ecology and conservation
The aim of this course is to introduce the students to environmental DNA and the molecular methods using environmental DNA in ecology and conservation. Participants will also work in groups to design and implement a small eDNA research study during the course of the week. This course will provide students with an overview of the field, clarify the strengths and limitations and give the students an understanding of how eDNA based techniques can be used in their own research.
