Welcome to the kick-off workshop with the BECC Action Group on Stakeholder Interaction in Research Processes, September 22, 12.00-15.00, at the Center for Environmental Sustainability, GMV, in Gothenburg.

Please sign up for the workshop no later than 16/9 by sending an email to maria [dot] gothberg [at] gu [dot] se (Maria Göthberg).

Please also inform Maria if you would like to join the Action Group but cannot join the first workshop (if you have not done so already).

The purpose of this kick-off workshop is to discuss the direction and activities of the Action Group and to test a draft guide for strengthening stakeholder interaction in research processes. The guide was produced as part of the BECC research project STAKE: Practices and barriers of stakeholder interaction – challenges for research projects.

Draft Guide for strengthening stakeholder interaction in research processes (The guide will be sent to the participants one week before the workshop).

The Action group was formed to:

  1. Increase the knowledge among BECC-researchers and other researchers at UGOT and LU about methodologies related to evidence-based stakeholder interaction in research processes.
  2. Present, test and revise the guide on evidence-based stakeholder interaction developed in the BECC project STAKE.
  3. Establish a network of interested researchers for further knowledge generation and exchange on these issues.
