Funding possibilites

On this page you will find all information you might need regarding the funding possibilities as a BECC researcher.

The allocation of BECC resources is based on a yearly budget decided by the Board. Some specific decisions are taken by the Board while in other cases it allocates resources to a specific task for later decision.

Always consider gender and interdisciplinary aspects, stakeholder interactions, and the connection between Gothenburg and Lund universities when submitting any proposal or activity.

Acknowledge BECC in papers and presentations

If you are funded by BECC, please acknowledge BECC in your papers and presentations. BECC PIs are always expected to highlight their BECC affiliation e.g. in BECC-relevant talks and publications. Examples:

  • “X is supported by the Swedish government funded Strategic Research Area Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in a Changing Climate, BECC.”
  • “The research presented in this paper is a contribution to the Strategic Research Area Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in a Changing Climate, BECC, funded by the Swedish government.”
