Welcome to the seminar "Science-based transformations 2030", February, 25th. The seminar is part of the launch of the new UN-initiated network "Sustainable Development Solutions Network Northern Europe" - SDSN Northern Europe.
In the seminar scientists from different disciplines will present and discuss ideas how research can contribute to sustainable solutions to the global challenges of the society. The seminar will focus the United Nations newly adopted 17 sustainable development goals (SDG:s) and how the SDSN Northern Europe network will be a driving force to create new partnerships to implement the goals.
The seminar primarily addresses researchers, but stakeholders from business, authorities and other organisations are also welcome to join. Among the speakers are Jeffrey Sachs, Johan Rockström, Katherine Richardson, Thomas Sterner and Katarina Gårdfeldt.
